Hey, I’m Jon, and I’ve been dealing with hair loss since my early twenties. It’s been a rough ride, waking up every day, looking in the mirror, and dreading the sight of my thinning hair. You know how certain lighting just makes it look even worse? That was me, avoiding mirrors and pictures, throwing on a cap any chance I got.

At one point, I was so desperate I started spray-painting my scalp with those hair enhancement sprays, just praying it wouldn’t rain or get too hot. Not exactly a confidence booster.

Like many guys dealing with this issue, I tried the medical route: minoxidil, finasteride, all the usual suspects. As luck would have it, they weren’t suitable for me. My scalp had a bad reaction to one, and I got horrible side effects with the other. I even tried oral and topical versions of both, but my mind and body were just not having it. It felt like I was running out of options.

So, I started doing my own research. I spent hours reading up on natural ingredients, scouring Google Scholar for reliable studies, watching videos, and scrolling hair loss forums, trying to find something, anything that might work.

I started experimenting with different oils and natural ingredients, mixing them up myself at home. I was hell-bent on finding and trialing ingredients that not only have proven effectiveness but that would also be good for me with no nasty side effects.

It wasn’t an instant fix, but over time, I noticed something incredible: my hair loss slowed down, and I started seeing some regrowth. On top of that, my scalp felt healthy again, miles away from the flaky dandruff mess that I was struggling with before.

The only problem? I was constantly buying the ingredients separately, which was a pain. I couldn’t find a single product that had everything I had carefully picked out in my new routine. So, I started perfecting the formula and bottling it up into those very same glass dropper bottles we use today. I even gave some to my dad and friends!

After some encouragement from friends and family, I figured many more guys could benefit from this, and so, Buff Hair was born.

This isn’t some overnight miracle or fancy lab creation—it’s the result of years of frustration, a lot of trial and error, and a genuine desire to help guys like me feel good about their hair again. If you’re going through it, I get it. I’ve been there, and that’s exactly why I created Buff Hair.
